We recently stayed at Surf Salvacion for my bachelor trip with a group of 8, and we had a FANTASTIC time. Exploring the island was an unforgettable experience for our group thanks to the amazing hospitality and incredible amenities provided by Surf Salvacion. The surfing spots were perfect, the food was to die for, and the ambiance of our hotel made our stay extra special.

I stayed at Surf Salvacion and absolutely loved it. The rooms were all very tastefully kitted-out and were clean and very comfortable with new appliances and furniture. Everything you need right there.
The pool is a great place to chill and relax after surfing encased within a lush green tropical garden. It’s very peaceful and quiet and was like being in a beach/surf dream! The hotel is located just a short, beautiful walk to the beach where you’ll find great waves. I’ll be back again!
If you really want an experience that you will enjoy with your whole heart, then go and get a room there! Such a warm, welcoming atmosphere Thank you LISA you are the best!

This was our first trip to DR and Surf Salvacion made the vacation perfect! Lisa was an awesome hostess- welcoming, laid back, and always prepared with great recommendations. Our room was clean and comfortable, grounds and pool- beautiful. We enjoyed relaxing around the pool bar after surf sessions and getting to know the other guests. Yoga facility was huge bonus! Gabo, our surf guide, made the experience complete!! He was super helpful, knowledgeable, and took us to surf a variety of waves at private locations. We will definitely be back!!
This was our second stay at “Surf Salvacion”/formerly “Hooked on Cabarete.” We will be back next year, and the year after. Lisa and her sisters make SS fun and folksy. SS is quiet. The AC’s, hot water, Wi-fi, and plumbing are first rate. SS supplied unlimited free bottled drinking water even though hotel tapwater is potable. Life inside the 12 ft high exterior walls is like an oasis: quiet, pretty swim pool, grassy yard, outdoor beach showers. The walls surrounding the hotel grounds are probably unnecessary for security, but serve to make the interior so relaxing and quiet. See you next year, Lisa.
Surf Salvación was amazing. Our place was beautifully decorated with a minimal and tasteful vibe which we liked, nothing overdone. The private terrace was so cozy, and the communal pool with chairs had a good energy. I would highly recommend just based on the place alone, but in addition Lisa is an exceptional host and human. She hosted several low-key gatherings where we could meet others or be fed and not have to go out some nights. The most remarkable thing though is that I got very sick one night after eating out and she provided so many things for me includinng going to the pharmacy and to her sister’s to get us a thermometer. We had an incredible stay here and rested easy knowing we were well taken care of.
Place was sweet was able to walk easily to the beach and Lisa was always available to set up a ride to the airport or help you out.
It was better than we anticipated. Lisa is an awesome host. She was extremely helpful and thoughtful. Great location in walking distance to surf, the pool was quiet and peaceful. We grilled at night. It was good for our multi generation family.
Professional, honest, punctual, helpful team, as advertised. Helped me coordinate and responded to all my questions before arriving, and then were available and helpful during stay. Community feel is really, and well connected locally. Safe spot. Carla is the best. Great sports saway from Cabarete but not too far. Couldn’t recommend high enough
We stayed at Surf Salvación several times during our trip to the Dominican Republic. We felt very comfortable there and were very warmly welcomed. If we had any questions, they always had an open ear for us and the hosts were very helpful in all areas. We will be very happy to spend our stay there again. Simone und Tobias
Very cool place, the facilities are very well maintained, clean and pleasant. managers are very attentive and help with good tips. Very good location for those who like beautiful beach, surfing and water sports. Close to the beaches of Encuentro and Cabarete. Close to good places to eat and drink well. I recommend
It is a fantastic place to stay at . Very near to some great beaches and out of the way, though not too far, from the hustle and bustle of Cabarete. There are a number of activities that one can do apart from surfing and kitesurfing. I highly recommend the you check this place out if you are planning on staying in Cabarete
We stayed for 4 weeks, which is a long time – but we enjoyed every single day! Babette went out of her way to make everything work 24/7. Location was perfect for our needs – short to surf, food etc. and the price was fair. Hence owe were very pleased.
Had a great stay at Surf Salvación Cabarete. Babette was a wonderful host, she checked in on us constantly. The grounds were lovely and well-maintained. The accomodation was in walking distance of a bakery for breakfast, a food truck park for dinner and two nearby hotels with restaurants. The rooms were adequate and clean. The pool was very nice. A short taxi ride into the town of Cabarete. We would stay again and are planning to go back.
Spacious and peaceful. Beautiful garden. Clean rooms. Great place to stay. Close to the main beach, 5 min walking. Babette is very friendly and she always helps with anything she can. Very attentive. I will definitely be back.
Walter und Jeannette are the most lovely and caring hosts you could imagine. They were the cherry on top of our stay. The accommodations have everything you need to have a good time (chess, table-tennis, pool, barbecue,…) Chepe is a cool guy too and ensured us great fun with his surflessons in Pauhana.
