Diving

Surf Salvación works together Merlin diving centre in Sosua; the best place to go for diving in the surrounding. With over 10 years of experience, good equipment and instructors. The courses are done in Dutch, English or German and with certification afterwards. Beside diving, the centre also does snorkel trips by boat. Sosua Bay and the surrounding reef areas offer some fantastic snorkelling. The water here is sheltered, calm and clear giving you the opportunity to get right up close to the reef and view the abundant aquatic life. Interesting in diving or snorkelling? Mountain Biking

Get out of the heat and into the heart of the country. Jump on bikes for an exhilarating ride right through the heart of the Septentrional Mountain Range. Off road sections, including some single track are available for those seeking a challenge. At Surf Salvación we have mountain bikes for rent.

Kayaking

Kayak your way through rapids and crystal-clear pools of the River Yasica under a canopy of lush tropical vegetation. Jump in the water, swim with the fish, listen to the birds and enjoy the incredibly beautiful countryside. Kayak tours are very easy going and family friendly.

Canyoning

Canyoning differs from cascading in that it involves rappelling and is therefore slightly more technical and a little slower paced. Highlights of one of the best trips, the Magic Mushroom, include 2 rappels of up to 160 feet and exhilarating jumps of up to 25 feet into deep pools of crystal-clear water.

Horse Back Riding

The best way to take in the sun and views of the beautiful Atlantic Ocean on the North Coast. Beach rides include guides and roundtrip transportation from Cabarete. This is not just a nose to tail plod along the beach, these horses really love a good gallop!

Zip-Lining

Newly installed and ACCT certified, this is a 4,400 ft zip line park where you can enjoy the cool breezes and spectacular ocean and mountain views. Two training cables are followed by some fast lines and there is also a 55′ vertical fan descender into a newly discovered cave.
